Originally from Australia, Kaitlyn has spent years working in community mental health systems in South Australia, Queensland and Colorado USA. As an expat, she recognises the importance of community, connection and communication. She is dedicated to helping young people, adults and families access their inner resources and strengths to work towards their desired self.

Kaitlyn is committed to providing evidence-based mental health services through a client-centred approach. She holds a Bachelors in Psychology (Honours) from The University of South Australia where she published a research paper on the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the counselling profession in Australia. Additionally, she has a Masters in Counselling and Psychotherapy from The University of Adelaide where she focused on trauma-informed and person-centred counselling, cognitive behavioural therapy, emotion-focused therapy and mindfulness-based counselling.

Through an integrative approach, Kaitlyn helps individuals feel empowered and connected to themselves and others by holding a non-judgemental space. She views creative and mindful outlets as powerful tools to explore the psyche and to re-connect with unfamiliar, complex and strong parts of ourselves. She believes that psychological wellbeing is grounded in understanding wounded and protective parts to improve emotional flexibility and regulation.

Kaitlyn is here to gently guide you through areas of hurt by finding helpful ways of coping with emotions.
